After three and a half years of working from home, I finally have a desk! My problem was I didn't think I had space for one, but a friend linked me to the IKEA MICKE desk and it's a perfect fit. I opted for the cheapest chair, a SNILLE visitor's chair, because it's green and goes. It's surprisingly comfortable, and will do for now. My living room is a tad IKEA-tastic at the moment. I feel like something's missing to, like, bring it all together. Maybe I should add some more plants or pictures. I'm not very good at these things.
At the weekend, my mum picked up this London bus cushion from Primark. I've not been into Primark for years and years, and have never checked out their home section. For £4, it's a pretty good cushion. I'd been looking at bus cushions on Etsy and the ones I liked were £20+ without insert. I'm so very tempted to have a customised "Hornsey Road N19" cushion made, but I'm not sure if that'd be a little too sad.
Excuse the shoddy mobile snaps. It's been so gloomy lately, and my ancient digital camera can't handle it.
